* Black tea
* 2 cups of cold water
* 1/2 cup of sugar
* 1/2 cup of mint leaves
* 10 small mint sprigs

How to make Julep ice tea?

1) Heat up the saucepan. Put water, mint leaves, and sugar into the saucepan. Lower the fire. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

2) Increase the fire a bit and continue to stir until the liquid is thickened. Pour the content to a bowl. This is the Mix bowl. Let it cool down. In the mean time, prepare the tea.

3) Heat up 9 cups of water. Add in 7 teaspoons of black tea (Ceylon or Assam). Let it brew for 2-3 minutes. When finish, pour the tea into a big bowl.

4) Pour the content of the Mix bowl into the bowl that already has the brewed tea. Stir well.

5) Fill 8 tall glasses with ice. Pour the content in step 4 into each of the glass. Garnish each with mint sprigs.
