Although this kind of spice tea is a non-tea drink but it was quite popular. The varieties of this tea are very diverse due to so many blends. But anyway, here are some of the common herbal tea varieties that you may&#8230;or may not know:</p>

<p><strong>Alfalfa</strong><br />
This is a leguminous herb. It has purple flowers. It is mainly grown in the United States and Asia. The taste of this herbal tea is like vegetable, somewhat grassy.<br />
Alfalfa contains high level of vitamin A, D, K , mineral iron. It also provides the body of protein. It can help to relieve arthritis pain and strengthen muscles.</p>
<p><strong>Anise </strong><br />
It sometimes referred to as sweet cumin. The plant produces white flowers.<br />
Anise plant is now mainly grown in Egypt, Europe, and America. This herb gives the tea sweet yet spicy taste. Anise can help to reduce coughs and enhance digestion.</p>
<p><strong>Bergamot</strong><br />
Other names for this are horse mint or Oswego tea. It has gray leaves and white or purple flowers. Bergamot has slightly bitter taste with a hint of citrus.</p>
<p><strong>Chamomile</strong><br />
This herb is sometimes referred to as manzanilla. It has flowers that are similar to daisy. It is mainly cultivated in North America, Middle Asia, and Europe. Chamomile has strong fragrance and has slightly bitter taste. This kind of herbal tea is very refreshing.</p>
<p><strong>Catnip</strong><br />
The other names for Catnip are catmint. It has creamy-white flowers. Catnip plant is mainly cultivated in North Asia and North America. Catnip is sweet with a touch of bitterness.</p>
<p><strong>Dandelion </strong><br />
This plant has yellow flowers. It can grown anywhere if there is mild climate. Dandelion contains high level of vitamin A and calcium. The taste is between sweet and slightly bitter.</p>

This plant has white or yellow flowers. It is mainly cultivated in Africa and Asia, especially India. The taste of ginger herbal tea is spicy with a hint of sweetness. It can be helpful to relieve gastritis problems.</p>

Other names for ginseng are red berry or man-root. This plant is mainly grown in Japan and Korea.<br />

This plant has purple flowers. Lavender plants flourish regions with temperate climate. This herb produces mild tea with strong and distinguished fragrance.</p>

The other name is black sugar. This plant produces light purple or light green flowers.<br />
The herbal tea is made from the root of licorice plant. The tea taste slightly sweet and a bit bitter. </p>
<p><strong>Rose </strong><br />
There are more than 10,000 thousands varieties of roses with flower color ranging from white to purple. The rose herbal tea is made from rose hips. It gives pleasant fragrance and sweet taste.<br />
Rose hips contain a very large quantity of vitamin C. They also have high level of vitamin A, P, calcium, and iron minerals.</p>

Other names include mountain tea and tea-berry. Wintergreen plants produce either red or white flowers.This plant also produces fruits that look like red berries. It is a wild plant, commonly found in North America. Wintergreen herbal tea gives a pleasant fragrance and soothing taste.</p>
