* Fresh fruits (most of the fruits like strawberries, mango, banana are fine)
* Sugar or syrup
* Crushed ice
* Tea of your choice (prefer green tea, black tea can be a little strong)
* Tapioca balls
* Milk budding powder

What you need to do for this fruit bubble tea recipe?

1) Boil some water, cook the tapioca balls. Set aside a cup of hot water. Cook 25 minutes for larger balls and 15 minutes for smaller pearls. Cook less time if you want chewier tapioca pearls. Set the pearls aside for 10 minutes when they are done. Rinse them with cool water and let them dry.

2) In the mean time, add the tea powder into the hot cup of water in step 1 and let it brew for 2 minutes (the time depending on the tea, black tea needs less time because of its strong flavor).

3)Chop the fruits of your choice (I often prefer strawberries but you probably have other interests…).

4) Add the fruits, sugar, tea, pudding powder, crush iced into the blender. If you want smoother texture, blend longer. If you want rough texture like bits of fruits in your tea, blend shorter.

5) Prepare tall and transparent glasses; add the cooked tapioca balls into the glasses. Add the contents from the blender into the glasses. Serve them with big straw.

* Note: If you want sweeter tapioca balls, you can soak them in honey before serving.
