It’s the summer and you always go out the beach. Why not have a beach tea party for your children. It will be a refresh for your children’s beach experience. Since this is a tea party at the beach, you really can’t do any decoration. The beach is nice enough. But there are few things you can do. You can buy a blue place mat for the children to sit on. If you can’t find the blue one, any bright color would do. Have an umbrella near you children’s party to shade them from the sun if it happens to be too bright. Check out the umbrella on the left.

If your children want some decoration anyway, there is one thing that they can do. Now in the market, they sell the plastic fish that when place in the water they can float around. You can buy the some of these plastic fish, some coral decoration, some rocks, and a bowl. You can place the bowl at the center of mat, place some plastic fish and let some swim. This is a perfect addition to the tea party.
The Foods and Drinks
There are many kinds of foods you can serve in the tea party. One thing that’s easy to prepare is hot dogs. You can buy mini-hot dogs so it’s easier for the children to eat.
You can also make some hot dog tea sandwiches or ham tea sandwiches. You can prepare this at home. You can buy whole-bread or wheat bread. Trim the edges. Boil the hot dogs. Cut the hot dogs into small slices. Place them between the bread. Cut the sandwiches diagonally to make triangle sandwiches. You can make strip sandwiches by cutting into thin rectangular. You can do the same thing with the ham sandwiches in case your children want to change flavor.
For dessert, you can buy vanilla pudding and add blue food color into the pudding to make it look like the sea. Fish crackers can also be served if the children are in the mood for a cheesy taste. One other dessert that’s a must have is ice cream. You can buy any kind of ice cream, in bucket or in small package. If you have to travel quite a distance to the beach, please consider buying the ice cream there for obvious reason, unless you have in you van a super cooler to store the ice cream. See if you like the new kind of ice-cream on your left.
Now for the drink, since this is a tea party, there should be tea pot and tea cups. The children can drink ice tea or cold orange juice. Ice tea in 1 gallon is available in the market. The beach is nice but quite hot, so it’s obvious that cold drink should be served.
Activities
This is the beach; the children can do a lot of things. They can listen to music, dancing, build castle, or just enjoy the view and the tea. A beach tea party is nice because the children have their own space and their own party. You just enjoy the beach without being bothered by the children every five minutes. All you have to do is sometimes look over at the children’s tea party to see what they doing and whether they run out of foods.
